Snow is Falling: Situation as of 9:00 AM

As of February 6, at 9:00 AM, snow is falling in the regions of Talin, Ashotk, Spitak, Vanadzor, Tumanyan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Ijevan, Novaberian, Tavush, Jambarak, Gavarr, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Jermuk, Sisian, Goris, Kapan, and Meghri, as well as in the Vardenis mountain range.

The roads from Noravan to Ltsen to Tatev, Goris to Sisian, and Shinuhayr to Tatev are closed to heavy and trailer vehicles. Other interstate and national roads in Armenia remain open. Road construction crews are actively engaged in cleaning and treating the roads with salt and sand.
