Who Needs to Declare Their Income: Tax Authority
The deadline for universal income declarations was initially set for May 1, but after discussions, a new deadline has been established: November 1. This was announced by the head of the Tax Authorities, Eduard Hakobyan.
He also listed the groups that are required to declare their income this year:
- The first group includes salaried employees.
- The second group comprises our compatriots working under civil contracts.
- The third group consists of state and municipal employees, as well as those holding public office.
- The fourth group includes citizens participating in organizations that declared gross income of over 1 billion AMD in 2023 (by participant, we mean shareholders, stake-holders, or members).
- The fifth group consists of individuals considered the real beneficiaries under money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws.
- The sixth group includes those who received a loan of 20 million AMD or more in 2024.
