Ukrainian Armed Forces Strike Targeted Blow on Suja City Boarding School

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out a missile strike on the boarding school in the city of Suja, located in the Kursk region, while Russian air defense systems recorded the launch of missiles from the Sumy region in Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Up to 100 civilians are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

“On February 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces committed yet another war crime by targeting the boarding school in the city of Suja,” the report stated.

The ministry noted that Kyiv launched the missile strike on Suja, attempting to divert global public attention from the atrocities committed by the Kyiv regime in the village of Russkoye Porechnoye in the Kursk region.

“The strike on a civilian facility by the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again demonstrates the terrorist and inhumane nature of those in power in Kyiv,” emphasized officials at the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Acting Governor of Kursk Region Alexander Khinshtein, for his part, announced that there is still no reliable information regarding the number of victims from the strike on the boarding school in Suja.

“In any case, the missile strike on a boarding school, where people could have been present, is an unforgivable crime and has no statute of limitations. Dear Suja residents, my thoughts and prayers are with you,” Khinshtein wrote on his Telegram channel.
