Putin Ready to Communicate with Trump, Says Peskov

Moscow is ready for a meeting between President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Donald Trump of the USA. This was stated by Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, emphasizing that the Russian side is expecting signals from Trump to initiate possible negotiations.

“Putin is ready to communicate with Trump, Moscow is awaiting signals; we will inform about a possible conversation in due time,” clarified Peskov.

It is noteworthy that Donald Trump has stated he is prepared to impose new sanctions and tariffs on all Russian exports to the United States if Russia continues its special military operation in Ukraine.
