2025 Will Not Be a Calm Year, Says Russian Foreign Intelligence Chief

This year, the situation in the world will not be calm. This was stated by the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"It is already clear today that 2025 will not be a calm year. Much depends on how satisfied regional and global players will be with both the rationality and resilience of the situation," he said.

According to him, we are currently witnessing a transition from a unipolar world order that has lived out its time to a new, fair world order. "This process, of course, carries its risks and is very complex," noted the head of the foreign intelligence service.

It is worth mentioning that Moscow has repeatedly stated at various levels the unacceptability of the unipolar world order and the necessity for a more balanced architecture of international relations.
