Put an End to This Racketeering Against Yerevan Residents: Sarukhanyan

I call for an end to this "racketeering" against the residents of Yerevan. This was stated by Shavarsh Sarukhanyan in a post on his Facebook page, who has been an active participant in the Velvet Revolution.

“Ladies and gentlemen, reconsider your decisions regarding property taxes, taxes, and transportation. The number of complaints is several dozen times more than you anticipated. You will not even be the opposition in the next elections if you continue in this manner. Wake up! I have supported the revolution since its very first days; I opened the door to the Public Radio studio for Pashinyan to enter and covered it all to support the revolution. I am starting to feel disappointed. I have not tried to flatter anyone; I have worked diligently over these 7 years. I did not expect any support when some members of the opposition falsely labeled me and threatened me. Now decisions are being made in the city hall by those who were nowhere to be seen during the revolution. I am very disappointed, and I am considering selling everything I have built over these years and moving abroad. Only standing alone with priests to hold rallies is pointless. I am amazed that after the adoption of these laws, it will be the people, especially the supporters of the revolution, who 'block' the city hall. By the end of the year, in December, you will feel who does not understand what I am talking about,” he wrote.
