Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia: Details

The Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Kerim Veliyev, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Metin Gürak, during a visit to NATO. This was stated in a publication from the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

Simultaneously, today, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Maka Bochorishvili, has arrived in Baku. She has already held a meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, according to Azerbaijani media.

Earlier, it was reported that the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, would make an official visit to Azerbaijan on January 17. Garibashvili is set to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Additionally, under the leadership of the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan, the 10th session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in Baku. The Georgian delegation will include the heads of the ministries of economy, foreign affairs, agriculture, culture, and the head of the government administration.
