Black Boxes Provide Intriguing Information, Lavrov on Crash Incident

The black boxes of the AZAL aircraft do not confirm the theories circulating in the media regarding the incident, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“The contents of the black boxes have already provided very interesting information, the nature of which convinces us once again that we must wait for a complete investigation, rather than inflame the atmosphere in the media space,” the diplomat said.

Earlier reports had indicated that the Azerbaijani aircraft that crashed in Kazakhstan was shot down by Russian air defense in the airspace over Grozny while Ukrainian drones were attacking Russia at that time.
