Economic Interests Must Be at the Core of State Benefit: Pashinyan

The economic development interest should be at the core of the state benefit of the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on social media.

He wrote, “In 2025, I consider the peace process, digitization, and the fight against corruption as the priority locomotive program. The deeper you try to understand geopolitics, the more you realize that it is fundamentally based on the economy, and at the foundation of the economy is the necessity for each citizen's prosperity, because states are sustained by the prosperity of their citizens. Absolutely everything that states do is intended to serve the prosperity of their citizens. Otherwise, the state has no meaning. And all other policies are built upon the necessity of prosperity.

When we talk about security, we do not delve much into what kind of security; it is the security of prosperity, because all the components necessary for prosperity come from the security of those components. Nothing else signifies anything.”
