The IQ levels by country have been updated as of January 1, 2025. This study is based on data from 1,352,763 people worldwide who took the same IQ test on this platform in 2024. Countries highlighted in gray on the map were excluded due to insufficient data.

Overall, average IQ appears to be higher in East Asia. It is close to the global average in Europe, Western Asia, North America, and North Africa. Meanwhile, it falls below average in Central and Southern Africa, as well as Latin America.

As it appears on the list, Armenia ranks 8th. In contrast, among our neighboring countries, Georgia holds the 21st position, Iran is 4th, Turkey is 46th, and Azerbaijan is ranked 48th. China takes the top position.
