New Details on Obtaining Transport Cards Offline

Dear citizens, if you are a beneficiary of the unified ticketing system for public transport and face difficulties using a computer or mobile phone, from January 8, 2025, service points of Telcell will operate every day from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

In the near future, service for privileged groups will also be provided in administrative district offices (community centers), about which additional information will be announced.

This was reported by Armen Galjyan, the head of the Yerevan City Council's faction of the Civil Contract party on his social media page.

“Through these service points, you can:

1. obtain a transport card,
2. undergo identity verification to check eligibility for benefits,
3. upon confirmation of eligibility, purchase a ticket package linked to a bank or transportation card with contactless payment capability.

To buy a subsidized ticket at the service points, you need to bring an identification document and a public service registration number.

A deposit of 500 AMD is required when acquiring a transport card. This amount can be refunded upon returning the card. Returns must be made at the Telcell service points.

Please note that when obtaining a new transport card, it will activate within 3 hours after linking it to a ticket package.
