Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov Held a Phone Conversation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, have had a phone conversation during which they discussed the situation related to the crash of the AZAL airplane. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They emphasized the necessity for a comprehensive resolution of the incident, considering all circumstances. In continuation of the conversation that took place the same day between President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the ministers reviewed developments regarding the crash of the passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25, as noted in the statement published on the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
