Die Welt Journalist Resigns After Publication of Elon Musk's Text
The head of the opinion section at the German newspaper Die Welt, Eva Marie Kogler, has submitted her resignation following the publication of Elon Musk's text, as reported by TASS.
"I have always enjoyed leading the opinion pieces for Die Welt and Welt am Sonntag. Today, Elon Musk's text has appeared in Welt am Sonntag. Yesterday, I submitted my resignation after the publication of the material," Kogler wrote on X.
In his text, Musk stated that Germany is at a critical juncture, with its future veering towards economic and cultural collapse. "As someone who has made significant investments in Germany's industrial and technological landscape, I believe I have the right to speak openly about its political orientation," the businessman remarked. He expressed that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is, in his view, "the last spark of hope for Germany."
