Order Given to Inventory Artsakh Negotiation Papers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs to inventory the negotiation papers related to Artsakh present at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A decision on whether to publish the package will be made after discussing and assessing it from the perspective of Armenia's national security interests. This was reported by the Prime Minister's office in response to a question from "Freedom" radio.
At the end of last year, "Freedom" had asked Nikol Pashinyan whether he was ready to publish the official documents concerning the resolution of the Artsakh issue before and during his tenure, so that the public could familiarize itself with specific facts without political manipulation and draw its own conclusions. Various public figures had made such an appeal. Former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan had also urged Pashinyan in a similar manner.
In response to "Freedom"'s inquiry, Prime Minister Pashinyan simultaneously urged former presidents to publish those documents: "It is clear that the three presidents have all the negotiation documents at their disposal, and if there is any evidence in them supporting their current claims, it is unclear why they have not published them. In his public statements at various times, Prime Minister Pashinyan has verbally disclosed key aspects of the negotiation process," the media outlet reported.
