VIDEO: It Was Inevitable for Nagorno-Karabakh to Be Under Azerbaijan, Says Konyazyan

After the war, we fixed a different situation on the ground, our ally was not ensuring security. This was stated today by the head of the My Step faction, Hayk Konyazyan, during a press briefing with journalists in the National Assembly, referring to the question about the fall of Artsakh.

“When the status quo of Nagorno-Karabakh changed on the ground, we were forced to respond appropriately to the situation. We had circumstances with our allies where allied commitments and security guarantees began to malfunction, and we have spoken about this publicly several times. We needed to make conceptual adjustments so that we could adequately respond to the situation,” Konyazyan noted.
