If Armenia Does Not Accept, She Will Be Buried in Azerbaijan: Media

If Armenia does not accept the body of a resident of Stepanakert, she will be buried in Azerbaijan. This information was reported by Azerbaijani media outlets citing the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons.

The ICRC delegation in Armenia refrained from confirming or denying the information in a conversation with “Factinfo,” stating that they cannot speak on behalf of the authorities, while emphasizing that they are willing to assist in finding any solutions as previously mentioned.

It is recalled that the death of 70-year-old Vera Aghasyan became known on October 23. According to Azerbaijani media, preliminary data indicates that her death was due to acute cardiovascular failure and pulmonary artery thrombosis. The woman, according to Azerbaijani media, passed away on October 20.
