Property Seizures on Several Assets of Vigen Sargsyan

The former Minister of Defense, Vigen Sargsyan, has had a lien placed on his residential property in the United States. This information was reported by 1lurer.am.

The prosecutor's office is confident that the official, accused of money laundering involving 100 million drams, acquired the house through illicitly obtained income. A lien has also been placed on five apartments owned by Vigen Sargsyan in Yerevan, which have been subjects of income legalization.

The case has been sent to court to proceed without hearing Vigen Sargsyan.

Sargsyan is currently wanted by authorities.
