Robert Kocharyan's Office Responds to Pashinyan
The head of the office of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, Bagrat Mikoyan, has also reacted to Pashinyan's invitation for a debate, stating that Kocharyan has long stopped reading the Prime Minister's absurd posts on Facebook.
“For a debate, there needs to be a contentious topic. The fact that the surrender of the sovereign territories of Artsakh and Armenia is the personal 'achievement' of the acting Prime Minister is an undisputed historical fact that is evident to all adequate people,” he wrote.
Mikoyan added that from 2018 to 2024, there has been one person in Armenia who held total power, and that person bears the full responsibility for all events. “One person has declared that he is negotiating from his own standpoint, whatever it may be, and that person is the acting Prime Minister. Of course, nobody will discuss serious topics with TikTok comic characters,” Mikoyan emphasized.
According to him, he would prefer to remain silent about the hint of a survivor hiding behind thousands of police officers and bodyguards; the twisted walls of bunker-shelters will speak more eloquently about that.
As a reminder, Nikol Pashinyan has invited former presidents to a debate.
