Iran Calls on Syrians to Resist Current Government

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has declared that the uprising has been orchestrated by the West, urging Syrians to resist the revolutionary government formed after the overthrow of former president Bashar al-Assad. Khamenei stated that Syrians, especially the youth of the country, must decisively stand against those who have conceived and executed the insecurity in the nation.

Additionally, Ayatollah Khamenei has also addressed Israel's actions, reiterating that Israel must be destroyed. According to him, this will occur with the participation of Iran's 'Axis of Resistance.'

“Iran has no proxy forces in the region. Yemen, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad fight for their beliefs and receive no support from us. The brave people of Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria oppose the Zionist regime. We will annihilate this regime,” Khamenei stated.
