Kremlin Responds to Pashinyan's COVID Diagnosis
Edita
The Kremlin hopes that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who was unable to attend the informal CIS summit in Saint Petersburg due to a positive COVID test, will participate in the EAEU summit via video conference. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.
“We hope that tomorrow, during the scheduled part of the EAEU summit, he will be able to participate via video link,” Peskov told reporters.
“This is very important; you know that Armenia is a very important participant in the organization,” he added.
It is worth noting that in the morning, Pashinyan announced that he tested positive for COVID on December 23 and has isolated himself for two days while working from home.
