I Warned There Would Be Hell: Trump
The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, has stated that he demands the release of hostages held by the Palestinian radical movement Hamas before his inauguration ceremony, threatening serious consequences otherwise.
"I warned there would be hell if the hostages are not home by then," he said during his first press conference after winning the November elections at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
When asked for clarification on what this means, the Republican responded, "They need to understand what that means. There will be nothing pleasant in this." Trump's inauguration is set for January 20, 2025.
The American elected leader also mentioned that he had a "very good" phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the past.
When asked if he intends to withdraw American troops from Syria, Trump replied, "I don’t think I want to kill our soldiers. But right now I also don't think that will happen, as one side has been annihilated."
