Turkey's Foreign Minister: Close to Peace Between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during a speech regarding the Turkish Grand National Assembly's budget for 2025, stated that they are close to achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“We are close to peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” he said. He noted that there is a glimmer of hope for peace in the South Caucasus: “Ensuring peace will contribute to the region's development and create new opportunities. Turkey supports all efforts in this process. Our country backs the negotiations between the parties, which are taking place on a bilateral basis without intermediaries.”
