Asad's Location Officially Confirmed

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, has announced that Russia has not abandoned the departing President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, during this difficult time.

“Bashar Assad and his family are in Moscow. Russia does not betray its friends in difficult situations,” Ulyanov wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, citing a source in the Kremlin, reported that Assad is in Moscow and that Russia has granted asylum to the Syrian president and his relatives 'for humanitarian reasons.'
