This was reported by the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper.
A total of 9 million 333 thousand drams was allocated from the state budget.
According to official documents, the New Year decorations of the National Assembly garden and the organization of a festive concert program are set to take place on December 25, 2024. This includes the decoration of the central gates of the National Assembly in a C shape (in agreement with the customer), using natural fir branches, toys, and lighting for the gates. A decorative arch is to be installed in front of the central gates, along with festive lighting. Additionally, two snowman statues, at least 2.5 meters high (the appearance, shape, etc., is to be agreed upon with the customer), will be placed using natural fir branches.
One elf-character will be stationed on each side of the gates to greet children (a total of 2 elves). At least 10 festive and New Year characters (including Santa Claus) will entertain children for a duration of 2 hours. Six tents measuring 3x3 meters will be installed.
The first tent will be a festive corner featuring 10 decorative baskets themed around the New Year. It will include 500 round lollipops and 500 cone-shaped ones, as well as 1,000 tangerines. The second tent will be a warm corner, providing 600 servings of tea, 1,000 servings of cocoa, and 600 servings of instant coffee. The third tent will be a sweet corner offering 1,000 pieces of various sweets and 1,000 New Year cookies. All tents will be equipped with napkins for at least 1,000 people.
A photo zone will be set up in the yard of the National Assembly for taking pictures with Santa Claus. There will be artificial snow during the arrival of Santa Claus and at the closing moment. A total of 1,000 holiday hats will be distributed by the elves near the gates.
The decoration of an electric car (for Santa Claus's arrival) is also planned. This electric vehicle will be provided by the staff of the National Assembly. An interactive Armenian musical show lasting at least 1 hour will also be organized. This meticulously planned event will take place on December 25.
