Proposal in Russia to Recognize Santa Claus as a Foreign Agent
In the Russian Federation, there is a proposal to recognize Santa Claus as a foreign agent. This was reported by MK. Public figure Vitaly Borodin has already contacted the Prosecutor General's Office regarding this initiative. He believes that the American holiday figure poses a danger, as the Santa Claus brand is well-known and popular in countries that are unfriendly towards Russia.
At the same time, many foreign companies use the image of Santa. According to Borodin, the brand's value is estimated at $1.6 trillion, and there is a high probability that foreign companies could be involved in funding the image of Santa Claus in Russia.
According to Borodin, the funding of Santa's image could aim to undermine traditional Russian values.
