Major Accident on Gyumri-Haikavan Road: One Dead and Several Injured

On December 9, at 11:31 AM, a call was received at the Shirak regional rescue service's crisis management center reporting that an accident had occurred near the village of Haikavan, requiring the assistance of rescuers. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A combat team from the regional rescue service's firefighting and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that vehicles identified as an ‘Audi’ (driver: E.M.), a ‘PAZ’ (driver: S.M.), and a ‘GAZel’ (driver: R.M.) collided on the 8th kilometer of the Gyumri-Haikavan highway.

Rescuers extracted the body of the Audi driver from the vehicle. Passengers K.K.-N. (born in 1986), M.K. (born in 1968), and G.K. (born in 1967) were hospitalized.
