Balcony Collapses in Gyumri, Casualty Reported

On December 6, at 14:17, the Shirak regional rescue department's crisis management center received information that a balcony of one of the apartments in building number 10 on G. Nzhdehi Street in Gyumri had collapsed. There is a reported injury.

This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service. A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the balcony floor collapsed during renovation work on the apartment. A citizen, identified as F. H. (born in 1988), was hospitalized with injuries.

The rescuers have secured the hazardous area and dismantled the balcony.
