Gunshots Fired at Street Cleaning Workers
On December 8, a 61-year-old resident of Artsakh, S. A., reported that while performing cleaning work near A. Armenakyan Street in the Norq-Marrash administrative district, someone shouted at him and drew a starter pistol to threaten another person working with him. Following this, gunshots were fired into the air. This was reported by ArmLur.
It has come to the attention of the news agency that law enforcement has responded to the call from the Artsakh citizen and determined that 24-year-old G. M. had fired shots on Armenakyan Street. The incident began when S. A., who works as a janitor for the Yerevan Waste Management and Sanitation Department, was cleaning the mentioned street along with several others when G. M. was observed littering the street. After an admonition, a commotion ensued, leading to a dispute, during which 24-year-old G. M. fired from a starter pistol.
