I Want to Understand What Lies These Are: Simonyan on Agvanyan
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, assures that many opposition MPs are going on missions with him; they simply do not make it public, unlike Gegham Nazaryan who has left the "Armenia" faction.
“Agvanyan approached my employee Ashkhen and said, ‘Why aren’t you taking me along?’ Seyran Ohanyan approached me and said, ‘By the way, I am the leader of this country’s friendly group, why am I not included?’” Simonyan noted in a conversation with reporters.
Simonyan mentioned that Agvanyan approached him and said, “When will you be free? Let’s go have coffee and chat for a bit.”
“I want to understand what lies these are,” the Speaker of the National Assembly remarked.
He stated that he made an offer to two opposition MPs for a mission to India, but they declined. He will make another offer to another MP to see what response he gets.
