Snow, Fog, Blocked Roads: Current Situation in Armenia

The rescue service reports that there is a closed road within the territory of Armenia. The road from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station to the Karaglitch is blocked in the Aragatsotn region.

There is snowfall in the area from the village of Aghvan to Tatev, particularly in a section called "Meghru Hill" and in the village of Ltsen. Fog has settled over the city of Goris. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
