US Officials Massively Move to Private Sector After Elections

The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, is prompting public lawyers to move en masse to the private sector due to his plans to cut government spending, reports Reuters citing informed sources.

According to Dan Binstock, a recruiting worker in Washington for the past 20 years, the number of federal government employees who have contacted his company has increased fivefold after the elections.

"The degree of uncertainty is off the charts," the agency quotes him saying. Earlier, Donald Trump, who won the presidential election, announced that Elon Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy would lead a new department called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), tasked with "reducing wasteful spending and restructuring federal agencies."
