Ukraine Claims 'Oreshnik' Does Not Exist; Russia Responds

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has commented on the words of Ukrainian President's Advisor Mikhail Podolyak, who stated that the 'Oreshnik' does not exist. This was reported by Rbc.ru.

“Maybe first clarify whether the Yuzhmash plant exists,” she wrote on her Telegram channel. Podolyak had previously announced on a Ukrainian television channel that the missile 'Oreshnik' does not exist.

Russian President Vladimir Putin first mentioned the 'Oreshnik' in a video address on November 21. He stated that the missile was used in response to an attack on Dnipro after the Ukrainian army struck the Bryansk and Kursk regions with Western ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles.
