The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that Ukraine has every opportunity to end the war next year, and that by January, clear proposals from the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump regarding ending the war should be available. This was reported by Pravda.com.ua.

“We are open to the leaders of African countries, Asia, and Arab states. We are ready to see their proposals. I also want to see the proposals from the new President of the United States. I believe that we will see these proposals already in January. And I think we will have a program to end this war,” said Zelensky.

He also added that he did not want Russian disinformation to affect people's perceptions that Ukraine has only its own agenda and does not wish to listen to partners from other continents. “It's not true,” Zelensky emphasized.

He noted that his meeting with Trump depends on many factors, particularly its legitimacy, while preparatory meetings could occur before the inauguration. “I don’t know when the meetings will take place, I don’t have that information, the teams are working,” he said.
