What Wild Animals Has Putin Given to North Korea

Russian President Vladimir Putin has gifted North Korea more than 70 live animals, including a lion and two bears. This was reported by Interfax.

African lion, two brown bears, two domestic yaks, five white cockatoos, 25 various types of pheasants, and 40 ducks have been transported from the Moscow Zoo to the zoo in Pyongyang.

“Animals have historically played an important role in interstate relations as a sign of support, kindness, and care,” said Alexander Kozlov, Russia's Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
