«Hard Process» - Kopirkin
Russia believes that there are no viable alternatives to the Russian-Armenian alliance's cooperation, including within the frameworks of the CSTO. This was stated by Russia's Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin in an interview with Izvestia.
“Moscow expects that Yerevan will actively join the collaborative efforts to develop an equal and indivisible security system in Eurasia, the idea of which was proposed by President Putin,” the ambassador said.
Russia continues to uphold its obligations to ensure Armenia's security in both bilateral formats and within the CSTO framework.
Kopirkin also discussed the relations between Yerevan and Baku, stating: “It is not an easy process and it takes time, and Moscow is ready to assist partners in the settlement process, adhering to the letter and spirit of the trilateral agreements. The forms and volumes of such support should be determined by the negotiating parties themselves,” he noted.
