Pashinyan Sets Deadline for Vacating Brusov Building

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the educational description of the "Academic City" project today at the Pedagogical University, attended exclusively by pre-registered students and faculty. After the event, Pashinyan summoned the rectors of Pedagogical, the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Armenia, and Brusov State University. The meeting also included the head of the State Committee on Science, Sargis Hayotsyan, and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, Zhanna Andreasyan. This was reported by 24News.

According to information, Pashinyan stated that the process of merging these three universities should be completed as soon as possible, and that the Brusov building should be vacated by the spring of 2025. The report states that Andreasyan attempted to argue that it would be technically difficult; however, the Prime Minister remained adamant and insisted that the timeline is clear, suggesting, "If they can't finish on time, let two universities operate temporarily in one building."
