Powerful Cyclone Approaching: Gagik Surenyan Issues Warning

Due to the penetration of a powerful cyclone from the northwest, rainfall is expected across the entire territory of the Republic during the day on November 26, and on the night of November 27-28.

In the late evening hours of November 26, as well as during the nights of the 27th and 28th, snow precipitation is expected in the Shirak, Lori, Tavush lowland areas, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Armenian mountain and foothill areas of Ararat, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik, including the higher regions of Yerevan. Significant snowfall is anticipated in certain areas of the Republic.

The air temperature is expected to drop by an additional 6-8 degrees Celsius on November 27-28.
