First Session of Georgia's Newly Elected Parliament to Take Place
The first session of the 11th convocation of Parliament will be held on November 25. This was announced by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
According to him, in no country does the parliament need recognition of legitimacy from the opposition; otherwise, there would be no democracy in the world.
“We assume that the outgoing president Salome Zurabishvili will once again violate the Constitution by not convening the first session. In that case, the Parliament of Georgia will gather exactly on the 10th day after the official results of the elections are announced, which means on November 25,” Garibashvili stated.
