Bad News: Scholz Comments on Conversation with Putin

The German Chancellor has commented on his recent conversation with the President of Russia, which took place on November 15. Olaf Scholz stated that the discussion showed no signs of any changes in the Russian President’s views regarding the war in Ukraine. The Chancellor referred to it as "bad news." This was the first phone call between the leaders of the two countries since December 2022.

On the other hand, Scholz characterized the conversation as "important and detailed," insisting that he will continue to communicate with Putin and that they will have another discussion soon.
