Our Football is Buried Under Greater Problems: Shirak

Armen Melikbekyan's continued presidency at the Football Federation of Armenia gives rise to new problems for Armenian football every day. This statement was made by the Shirak football club.

On the club's Facebook page, a photo was shared showing a significant number of security personnel present at the stadium during the yesterday's match between the Armenian national team and the Faroe Islands.

"Every day that Melikbekyan stays in power, our football is buried under greater problems," stated Shirak.

It is worth noting that the fan clubs of the Armenian national team, FAF and Red Eagles, organized a joint march before and after the League of Nations match, demanding Melikbekyan's resignation.
