Video: 14,500 Cigarette Boxes Hidden at Agarak Customs Point

The State Revenue Committee has thwarted an attempt to import a batch of 14,500 cigarette boxes without excise stamps. A citizen, driving a freight truck, attempted to transfer 29 boxes of cigarettes from Iran to Armenia and hid them in the Agarak customs clearance area, specifically behind the baggage screening equipment intended for passenger vehicles, near the state border.

An administrative report on the violation of customs regulations has been drawn up based on Article 312 of the law on customs regulation of the Republic of Armenia.
