In many cases, people simply haven't paid, we will apply methods. Avinyan spoke about changes in transportation payments.

The Mayor of Yerevan believes it was important to start this process before transitioning to a unified ticketing system to expose all issues.

"Starting from January 1, we will have a fully operational unified ticketing system, and cash payments inside the bus will not be possible," Avinyan said in response to questions about the issues arising from the new system which only allows online payments or a payment of 100 drams.
