Video: Bus Lanes to be Separated with Concrete, Says Avinyan

The bus lanes will soon be specially equipped and turned into concrete-separated sections. This was stated today by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a joint meeting of the permanent committees at the National Assembly while presenting the 2025 budget.

According to him, the lanes are being structured in such a way that it will be more difficult for other vehicles to enter. “The number of bus lanes will increase, as well as the number of streets operating in one-way mode. There are sections where there are currently parking spaces along the curb on both sides; in some cases, one side will be completely removed,” Avinyan noted.

He added that this applies not only to Yerevan's Small Center but to all administrative districts.
