VIDEO: No Use of Public Transport Without Payment

During the period from November 1 to 7, out of 2 million 131 thousand 746 passengers, 578 thousand 22 utilized the ticketing system. Compared to the previous week, the revenue of "Yerevan Bus" LLC increased by 24 million 700 thousand drams.

Starting from November 1, the Public Order Protection Service has established current supervision during the operation of public transport in Yerevan to ensure that citizens make the relevant payments in accordance with the established procedure when using this service.

Inspections have revealed that issues primarily arise due to problems with change, validators, as well as drivers conducting passenger transport without the appropriate payment. It has been instructed to develop legal solutions so that after the complete implementation of a unified ticketing system, the service can carry out administrative actions in cases of passenger transport without the relevant payment.

During the past week, 8 unauthorized constructions were demolished. Approximately 180 families live in emergency buildings 66/1 and 68a on 6th street of Vardashen. To resettle the residents, since the community lacks appropriate residential fund and financial resources, the municipality has requested government assistance by proposing to allocate appropriate funds in the state budget. Preliminary estimates indicate that 3.2 billion drams will be required.
