Peskov Comments on Trump's Statement

The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has commented on the words of US President Donald Trump, who won the elections and stated the day before that he is ready to talk with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Peskov noted that the American side informed the Kremlin about its willingness to engage in dialogue yesterday. “We also heard that Trump said during the campaign that he is ready to call Putin. This readiness remains,” the press secretary stated.

At the same time, he pointed out that there is still no clarity regarding the communication between Trump and Putin.
