Messi Reveals What Surprised Him in the U.S.

Argentine forward Lionel Messi of Inter Miami has responded to the question of what surprised him in MLS.

“There is a lot of passion here, which was a surprise for me. I knew how popular basketball, baseball, and American football are here, but I had never heard of such enthusiasm for soccer, so I was very surprised. MLS is a competitive league. Every team is strong at home, so it’s not easy to win in away games,” Messi is quoted by ESPN.

Messi has been playing for the American club since 2023. His contract with the club is set to last until 2025.
