Fire in Gyumri: Residents Evacuated
A fire broke out in Gyumri, damaging the wooden door at the entrance of a building.
On October 31, at 11:12 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Shirak Regional Rescue Department received a report that a fire had erupted at the entrance of building number 5 on Minas Avetisyan Street in Gyumri. A firefighting team was dispatched from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The fire was isolated at 11:22 AM and extinguished by 11:34 AM. Approximately 2 square meters of the wooden door at the entrance of building number 5 was burned. Rescuers evacuated 20 residents. G.T. (born in 1950) received first aid from ambulance staff and was hospitalized showing signs of smoke inhalation.
