Death Toll from Flooding in Spain Continues to Rise
According to the EFE agency, "140 people have died due to storms and the subsequent flooding in Spain."
It is noteworthy that heavy rains on Tuesday caused flooding in southern and eastern regions of Spain. Police and rescue services have been using helicopters to evacuate people from their homes and vehicles.
It should also be mentioned that a "red" danger level was recorded in Valencia. More than 1,000 soldiers from Spain's emergency response units have been deployed in the affected areas.
