«In the end, an invasion has occurred»: Iran's Foreign Minister
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated during a meeting with heads of diplomatic missions in Tehran that Iran will not rush to respond to Israel's strikes.
According to him, the issue of de-escalating the situation is a public demand both regionally and globally due to the likelihood of large-scale war. The Iranian minister emphasized that the only solution is to prevent Israel's aggressive policies and brutal attacks.
He noted that the Islamic Republic will neither hesitate nor rush to respond to Israel's recent strikes. “We condemn the aggression of the Zionist regime and reserve the right to respond. Ultimately, an invasion has occurred in our territory, and it is quite natural for us to react in due time,” said Araghchi.
Araghchi criticized European countries for failing to condemn Israeli aggression, stating that Western nations often recall international law only when it serves their interests, while regularly ignoring other instances and applying double standards.
Earlier, the official spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, informed during a press conference that Iran, in cooperation with Turkey, continues negotiations with certain countries regarding the imposition of an arms embargo on Israel.
