BRICS Aims for Cooperation Based on UN Principles, Says Putin

The countries of BRICS stand united in the global arena in favor of enhancing cooperation based on the fundamental principles of the UN Charter. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The BRICS countries act together in the global arena to promote the activation of cooperation based on the key principles of the UN Charter, striving to contribute in every possible way to the formation of a just multipolar world order, with the decisive participation of Global South and East countries in international governance systems," stated Putin at a gala reception organized on the occasion of the BRICS summit, taking place in Kazan.

The ceremonial event is attended by the heads of delegations from BRICS countries and invited leaders who have arrived in Kazan to participate in the association's activities.
